Exercises & Habits
The free half of the fix: movement, breaks, and what actually sticks.
This is the half of the fix that has trial evidence behind it and no purchase attached. Rounded shoulders and forward head posture respond to loading the muscles that hold the opposite position and lengthening the ones that have shortened — scapular retraction work, thoracic extension, hip flexor length after years of sitting — and the studies that find a measurable change find it over weeks of consistent work, not days. The harder problem is not which exercise but which one still gets done in month three, which is a habit-design question: anchor it to something already happening, keep the session short enough that a bad day does not break the chain, and stop counting on a reminder to supply motivation it cannot supply. These guides cover both halves, and neither costs anything.
